Call me Jazzy
Hello there! I am a user experience designer residing in Plano, Texas.
I’m currently working at J.P. Morgan Chase, where I’ve learned the ins and outs of how getting a home loan works. Home lending is a complex space with multiple user types, legal and security requirements, and high-stakes decisions. Surprisingly, I found myself thriving in that complexity. It helped shape my design thinking and sharpened my ability to balance user needs with business and technical constraints.
You may have noticed the editorial section of this portfolio, for 6 months I led the design of the American Essence magazine. That experience exponentially boosted my visual design skills, and I learned to limit only the most essential information, and convey it with illustrations — that’s what makes up an infographic!
Also fun fact about me: When I travel I love tasting the local milk and yogurt. If you take me to the mountains to feast on the fresh cow’s milk, that’s my happy place… though i’ve honestly never had milk THAT fresh… but you get the idea.
